Frequently Asked Questions

In the shop we accept payment via our EPOS Now till system in cash or card payments. We accept payment to our business PayPal and business account for bank transfers.

On the stalls we accept cash, zettle card machine, buisness PayPal  and bank transfer.

We do offer an open basket option, which can be held for 10 working days- anything over this will be done on a 1-2-1 basis.

We do offer a mailing services using First Class Royal Mail and aim to post with in 3 working days of payment being received. Upto 2kg small parcel is £4.99, medium upto 10kg £8.99 Other delivery options can be arranged with the customer at customers cost. Free delivery on orders over £50.

All products sold by McCarthy Witchery LTD come with a 14 day returns policy with our shop receipt.

There is ample free parking at the front of the shop. It is shared and there are other offices open during the working week. At the moment we are the only premises open at our end of Coal Pit Lane at the weekend.

Access from Wigan Road behind The Royal Pub is limited due to the side car park and gates being owned by the Doggy  Day Centre. We can not guarantee that their red gate and green gates will be open during the week and they are not open at the weekend but access is always available from Bag Lane and Coal Pit Lane follwoing the road round.

Children are very welcome in our shop and are allowed to look around and touch the crystals etc, under your supervision. We will try our absolute best to answer all their big and small questions- nothing is too silly. Children are welcome at all our events unless stated on the advert. 

And breakages MUST be paid for on the day. We try our best to have on offer some amazing crystals at amazing prices and hope everybody who enters our shop has a fantastic experience- please leave our shop how you found it- including the bathroom.

Danny will give readings to young adults 16-18 with parental permission and parents/guardians in the shop. 

All we ask is that you don't consume alcohol before your readings or events- sound baths/candle making/ wicca/ spells and bubbles. If advertised alcohol can be consumed at the events.
